Exploring Cranial Sacral Therapy Fundamentals
Cranial sacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach for manipulating the head (cranium), spine and pelvis (sacrum) to enhance the function of membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding and protecting the brain and spinal cord. Students gain heightened sensation and perception, self-awareness and specific skills for listening, tracking and interpreting cranial rhythms as they reverberate through the body. You will learn cranial and spinal anatomy and step-by-step sequence. We will explore cranial mid-tide and long tide rhythms. Cranial sacral therapy can be used to find and release restrictions, re-educate holding patterns, calm over-stressed systems and over-stimulated nerves.
The class will be taught by Karisa Kenyon with Donna King assisting.
